That depends on the interests of the third-party developers. Midway is supporting the Wii with other non-sports games, since NBA Ballers was never in the GameCube. EA said somewhere that the will have more support to the Wii since the Super NES, so it may be possible for NBA Live to appear and other EA Sports games that have not appeared for the GameCube. I doubt 2K Games will support the Wii, because they did not have full support of the GameCube. Just keep your eyes and ears open and check on IGN often.

I like to play sports games like NBA Live and NBA Street but I love Mario so much. If I get a Wii I can play all the Mario games I want and download classics with the wii points card. If I get a PS3 I will end up with a machine capable of the greatest graphics so far and awesome sports games. I saw the control scheme for NBA Live 2008 for the Wii and it seems so complicated. I'm really stuck between the two systems. I'm so used to normal controls with sports games I don't want to flick my wrists to do this and spin the remote to do that.

Yes, the 40GB PS3 is a good price for $399 with the 2 extra included games. The 2 included games with the 40GB is something new, so take advantage of it.

I think that you should try to sell your stuff on Ebay or try going to a pawn shop and see how much they will give you. EB games wont be giving you much for what you are trying to sell.

I think that you should sell the PS2 console for $50 dollars.

The PS2 gams should sell for $10 dollars each, and the PS1 games should sell for $5 dollars each and the 2 PS2 controllers should sell for $10 dollars.

So the total comes to: $345.

You may not be able to get $345, but I think that you should be able to get at least $200+ dollars for everything. The games that you are trying to sell are pretty old, but there is probably someone out there that may be looking for the games that you are trying to sell.

Yeah thats a good price. If i was you i would get a warranty tho. Just incase. I got the 80 gig with motorstorm and a 2 year warranty. Good luck...PS3 is a good choice in systems...For being reliable....great graphics...and games...I put in a normal dvd of pirates of the carrabean 3...WOW the ps3 upscaled it to look almost like blu ray...Games i have so far...motorstorm...ratchet and clank future...uncharted and resistance...ALL reccomended games..Great graphics...Check out the demos for them when you get your ps3...and check out burnout paradise...nice graphics also. Alright you have to look at the price of what they are new and then take into consideration how much wear and tear they have on them. Also what you need to consider is where you plan on selling them. If you are selling them to just some friend then you will get more money compared to selling them to some store for in store credit because they need to make money off of reselling your games. Then if you take the Ebay approach it could very.

A Friend: $150-$200

A Store: $100-$150 in store credit

Ebay: $100-$300

If you are going to sell them on ebay though I would split up the lots so that you sell all of the DS games seperate from the Gamecube and the Gamecube games.

I don't play it but I did manage to find a guide for it. It says that you need to get your reputation high enough in order to get a invitation from the NBA. That may be the only way. Once you agree, you will get put onto the Street League. However, if you didn't receive a call by week 7, it's not going to happen.

when you start challenge you have to use a created player but if you get real good the nba players want to come on your team. you wont be able to pick exactly who though most of the time its players that you just played against. you should blow them out and after the game their might be a message (depending on how good you are or were when you beat them) saying that they would like to be on your team and you can pick yes or no.

A good game for a 360 is the Bigs... its baseball, but its like street where the whole point is to make like crazy wall catches, or run really fast, or even play in NYC.... its not realistic, but dats y its fun

I dont exactly know what you mean by ' double dunk '.

Well from what i understood, it's 2 dunks per jump.

What you do is this:

- Go for a dunk (press B while pushing the left analog stick towards the basket)

- DONT LET GO OF B, then you should see a 'bar-like' thingy on top of the screen.

- Let the moving colored bar reach the end, then let go.

This may be a bit hard at first, but through practice you'll get it, and its so fun 'cause they're gonna do weird dunks(such as walking on the backboard, doing backflips for the 2nd dunk, etc)

First get a young energetic back-up for Shaq, play the backup early and often, make sure he can run and defend. This year the Heat looked tired and the offence was stale. It has been a long time since Shaq could be counted on, not his fault the years have taken their toll. I say when Shaq is in the game the ball should go into the post. Get Shaq maximum shots in minimum minutes or let him rest a little keeping him on the weak-side in position for offensive rebounds. Try to keep him fresh never play him when he is fatigued. Do what is needed to get personel who can run and defend when Shaq is out. Must be able to adjust tempo according to opponent and situation, they had big problems last year with that, most of those vets looked like old dogs who couldent learn new tricks. Generally go younger. I think Wade needs to take more jumpers to give himself a chance to get hot from the outside, he has a great stroke and can shoot over anybody(he will last longer and have more in the tank come playoff time), Haslem and Shaq can hit the O-boards. Time to quit thinking about building around Shaq, get help for Wade, players who can keep up.

Primarily, they need to stay healthy. Yahoo! Sports just reported they lost Jason Kapono to Toronto, but James Posey and Daequan Cook should be able to replace his one-dimensional game. Wade got hurt last year, then Shaq, and even Pat Riley missed games because of hip surgery. Shaq has been working hard all summer and looks to be back in form, and Wade has been recovering well from shoulder and ankle surgery. Expect the Heat to compete in the East as long as they stay healthy. As long as they have Shaq and Wade, they can compete with the West's best teams.

DISCLAIMER : I'm a disgruntled MAvs fan and may be a bit biased.

Well other than retaining payton and haslem they need to bring in some youth. I think the team has great players that can mentor the youngsters in to good players. They also need to look at what will they do after shaq is gone and his skill deminishes......... Wade and his arm are another point of interest, he MUST get rest and condition his shoulder to its peak.

Lastly they need to make sure they get all the help from the ref and get all the non exsistant calls to screw other teams. A soft/pansy team like the 06 mavs in the finals would help too.

Well, I created my player, and beat Be a Legend mode. And I know that you can edit the dunks that your created player does. And I wanted to make one of his dunks "The Hawk", but when I go to do so, it says that the dunk is locked. How do I unlock this dunk. I think it is related to Connie Hawkins, but I already unlocked him, and the dunk is still locked. And the price is 0, so I can't buy it or anything, I just can't use it. i hate to burst your (and every other celtics fan) but you do not have the discipline,mental toughness, or playoff experience or chemistry that the four time nba champion Spurs have ,not to mention the suns,mavericks,pistons maybe the utah jazz. When I watched Celtics vs Heat last night Celtics started 4th qaurter really good winning, and they had all their best players playing, and they only scored like 4 points 4th quarter. So I don't know. Because this starting lineup is new, I think they might bump into more experienced team and loose. But I think Kevin Garnett will be 2008 Regular Season MVP.

They have a very good team, but i doubt it. The reason being is Rondo. He's talented, and have a bright future, but I dont htink he's ready to lead them. No he isnt the leader, but when great teams meet each other in the playoffs, pg play determines who wins. Only MJ, and LB last year, took their team to the finals w/o a pg who was a great floor general. I think Detroit will beat them in 7 games.
With 40 minutes a night, I bet the big three going to be quite tired out after a few months, and their record in 08 will suffer compared with 07. And if they do make it to the finals, it's really hard to imagine them beating Phoenix, San Antonio, or Dallas. (Houston and Utah I can understand though.) A good record isn't everything, look at Dallas in the playoffs last year.

No, it will not. Last night's loss suffered by the Patriots at the hands of the Giants in the Super Bowl ruins the chances of Boston running the table in the three sports you mentioned.

Further, I wouldn't be so sure the Celtics will pull it off. Sure, it's much easier to win in the NBA when you add the right piece or two as Boston has done. But there was a lesson in last night's Patriots loss: don't count your chickens before they hatch. If the 18-0 Pats who were all but handed the Lombardi Trophy by pundits and 'experts' alike before the game even began can lose, so too can a relatively weaker Celtics team. And by that I mean that the Celtics aren't to the NBA what the Pats were to the NFL. They've been good. But not as dominant as the Pats.

I'm sorry to see a purported Boston sports fan neglect to even mention the Bruins. You may not know this, but they are one of the 'Original Six' teams in the NHL. They have a long history as storied and rich with characters as any other Boston sports franchise. Having been around since 1924 and showcasing talent such as Bobby Orr, they deserve a nod. Then again, they're not doing too well this year. And it's not terribly surprising. The Atlantic Division is tough. The Flyers are showing consistent brilliance in execution. On a some what related note, I always pushed for the Boston sports teams to prevail. They were the perennial underdogs the rest of the country could get behind. When the MLB (Major League Baseball) and NBA (National Basketball Association) started, the United States was the only place where athletes in these two sports competed professionally. Years later, other countries started having professional teams as well, but these two leagues have not changed their name nor the name of their final series due to Trademark laws, etc.

Side note, back then (and even still today), the best athletes in the world competed in the United States leagues because the pay is so good. The best baseball player right now (Pujols) is not for the USA. The tallest person in the NBA (Ming) isn't from the USA either. Because of this, when the Olympics come, these athletes a lot of times choose to play for their home nation, even though they are in the NBA or MLB. So, when we call ourselves "world champs" and its a "world series", its not arrogance or self centered, or even ignorance, its fact.
It's just talk...marketing...nothing political or arrogant. The USA basketball team is no longer a "Dream Team". Many of the best don't play. The first was the Dream Team because of the amazing collection of all-time greats. Now, the USA team wouldn't even be a good NBA team.
Nice question. Like you said, baseball has Canada (blue Jays) yet Basketball has no other team from outside the country. Good luck, I am also curious..
Have you watched these events? Come on the World Series is just that where all the players come from all over to play it is the ultimate achievement. It's not just a title it is a world championship. Look at the list of players on any team and you will see why. Same goes for the NBA look at the rosters and you see that in National Basketball Association has more forgin players on it. Your right we did get our buts kicked the last time we sent a so called "Dream Team" to the Olympics. The reason that happen is we didnt send our best players. Thats the reason they can call them selfs WORLD CHAMPS is because we are the best and when we play our best we can beat the rest. Hands Downs.

Very Strong....however lets remember something VERY important....the last team to win a championship that had the NBA's best record was the 2003 Spurs....teams invest so much into the regular season that some teams are spent by the playoffs...I am watching the minutes that the Celtics play and to Doc Rivers credit he's keeping his players minutes very reasonable.....that to say....we'll see if they have burned themselves out in the regular season come playoff time

Kiffa Dallas is not a weak team, especially at home. Celtics are going to be tough in the playoffs, the big 3 are very hungry and they play defense. I don't see anybody winning 4 out of 7 against them. The only team I see beating them are the Jazz, they did give them their worst beating of the year in Boston no less.

Im not really a celtics fan but ive gotta give them credit where credit is due they are having a great season,and will be the team to beat in the finals.

I think they are good but i think my PISTONS will beat them in the eastern finals
they already are. the celtics are the best team in the NBA. by now, no one should say they cant play the west, or beat teams during clutch times. they beat texas, and almost every team at least one time. teams should fear the celtics.
